Volunteer with Common Ground Relief

CGR hosts thousands of individuals, school groups, corporate events, religious groups, volunteer associations, and more each year. CGR creates opportunities for folks to experience the wetlands of coastal Louisiana, often for the very first time. Through this guided experience, CGR staff will educate volunteers on the unique biodiversity and hydrology of our massive deltaic plain, the deep cultural and natural history of our region spanning several thousand years, and modern innovations and discoveries that have contributed to land loss and illuminated our residents to the priceless value of our surrounding wetlands. Our volunteer programs offer unique opportunities for both group and individual experiences, combining impactful work with cultural exploration.
